Harvard University Mobility Scheme

The Office of Global Engagement operates a mobility scheme designed to support academic staff from the University of Sydney to develop high-impact research and educational themes with staff and students at Harvard University. The funding is intended to help defray the expenses of participating academics, including those relating to travel, accommodation, or living expenses.

PhD students are eligible to travel to Harvard through this scheme, but applications must be initiated and submitted on their behalf by their academic supervisor. Academic supervisors may accompany their PhD students, but it is not compulsory to do so.

In 2019 up to 14 grants of AUD 5,000 will be available for travel in 2019. Applications which include Faculty co-funding will be viewed favourably.
